has anyone tried out openbox.I love it.very small when i installed it using apt(1 M download) and runs like a dream. The only problem comes in when i am using mozilla....it does take a while to load it and in that time i can see in my gkrellm monitor...the huge amounts of disk access it makes.
I still love it though.
I never really tried out fluxbox.maybe someone who has used both can tell me the advantages of one over the other.

openbox is nice. But I prefer straight gnome. I have used fluxbox extensively in the past, but gnome is just easier for me to use.

I'd like it better if I could throw the Trash icon up there and not have to use desktop icons though.
in ~/.xinitrc have
gnome-panel &
exec fluxbox

and you can have both :-)

installing KDE 3.2 is taking a long long time.

I hope it's worth my while.
