I am trying to get K3B to work on mandrake 10.1 with the 2.6.8 kernel. I have never had a cd burning problem before in mandrake 10.0 when I upgraded to mandrake 10.1 I cannot burn cds anymore with the same hardware.

Some have suggested that the kernel is the problem.

I have no idea what to do every time I try to write a cd K3B tells me:
