java plugin for firebird


LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /home/siccmade/diverse/download/MozillaFirebird/plugins/java2/plugin/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji.so [/home/siccmade/diverse/download/MozillaFirebird/plugins/java2/plugin/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji.so: undefined symbol: __vt_17nsGetServiceByCID]


thats the error i get and i don't know what to do...

do you get this error trying to install the plugin or is it after you installed the plugin and it just won't work? By the way how do you like firebird compared to mozilla?

Have you tried the GCC 3.x java version from blackdown.org?

Most java plugfins are compiled using GCC 2 but GCC 3 isn' t binary compatible with GCC 2 (damn shame), so use the java version which is made for your GCC version. Both GCC 2 and GCC 3 versions can be found on blackdown

i've installed the java plugin and now it wont work it gives me that error and i've searched boards and found a lot of ppl with that exact error but no solutions.

and i love firebird compared to mozilla and when they fix the bugs it will rock even more
