I can't seem to view java applications online. I have installed java so many times before but it seems on Red Hat 9, it won't budge. Now, I have went into kde control pannel, and went to web browser, and then java settings and put in the location of the java app. (/usr/java/jrewhatever/bin/java) Then I put it in my path, export $JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/jrewhatever, and export PATH=$PATH:$JAVA_HOME/bin. But when I go online and go to the web site at linksys for technical support (the live chat one) it says that "This browser does not support java, or is currently disabled. You can download java at
www.java.com. Or you can enable java by lowering your browser security leve." I haven't yet found something of a security level in firefox or mozilla. So that may not be it. I also have java turned on in preferences. So that may not be it. What should I do?
