Java 1.3.1 Lunix/Mandrake 8.0
After just figuring out the installation of Netscape 6.1. I really am having like a crazy time with Java apps... Limewire and browser intergrated apps could any one tell me what I am doing wrong do I read to gobaliz my path for java. And lastly is there away to put netscape link in all users and all xwin menus??? Any help would be like the best!!!
Just what has installing netscape got to do with java applications???
It would help if you told us what wasn't working. Kinda like that bit in HitchHikers Guide maybe... the answer is 42.. but if you don't know the question....
What error messages are there? Do you get that far?
Redhat 7.1 had a problem with java, requiring LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.15 to be set globally. If your classpath is set correctly you should have no problems really, but well... can;t really say more than that...
