IPtables Log Analyzer from http://www.gege.org/iptables/

does anybody use it? i'm having trouble with installing it.

I can get /etc/init.d/iptableslog to startup smoothly.

and /var/www/html/iptables/index.php appears to load OK (php is executed). it appears to be connecting to the mySQL database (no errors displayed).

But my index.php page shows no entries, when there are entries in /var/log/messages that are correctly labelled with "IPTABLES"

i'm using redhat 9 with Apache as installed, php 4.2.2, mysql 4.0.

any ideas how to determine whether feed_db.pl is parsing /var/log/messages and sending data to the mysql database...?
