Subject: Integration Error Between Kdenlive and Glaxinmate in Flatpak Versions
Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you well. I have a quick question regarding an issue I encountered while attempting to integrate Kdenlive and Glaxinmate, both of which I've installed as Flatpak versions. Unfortunately, I've encountered an error during this process.
I've attached a screenshot of the error for your reference. I was wondering if anyone could kindly assist me in identifying the potential cause of the problem and provide guidance on resolving it.
So you posted screen-shots, so we have to go through them to see the only error message as "Unknown Error"??? What, exactly, do you think we'll be able to tell you based on that error message?? You don't tell us version/distro of Linux, what you mean by "integrate kdenlive and glaxinmate" (integrate HOW??? Doing WHAT???) etc. We can't guess.
Using the Linux Mint Cinnamon edition, I currently have both Kdenlive and Glaxinmate installed as Flatpak versions. My intention is to integrate Glaxinmate with Kdenlive for video animation purposes. In order to achieve this integration, I need to specify a correct path.
After numerous attempts, I encountered errors indicating an incorrect path. However, I persisted in providing various paths until I found one that was accepted without errors. I believe the path I have ultimately provided is accurate.
Kdenlive version no: 23.08.3
Glaxinmate version no: 0.5.4
Hope i have provided information regarding your question.

We still don't know the version of Mint, or (still) what you mean by 'integrate' these two programs, as you were asked before. And, the only error message you gave us was "Unknown Error". We understand what those programs do, but unsure of why you can't save output from one and read it in the other.
Chances are it's because you installed these programs as flatpaks, not from the software manager/online repositories. Is there a reasons you did that??? And Glaxnimate is available as a .deb package from their website, so it too can be easily installed. The path you specified in the screenshot (which you should avoid posting, and type errors/info in manually)...is the actual executable IN that path??
Regarding integration, what I meant is that Glaxinamate is the software we use for creating animations. So to do that, I want to incorporate this tool into Kdenlive by specifying the file path where Glaxinamate is stored on my device. I recently switched from the Flatpak versions to the .deb files for both applications. Now, I need guidance on how to locate the file path for Glaxinamate within my Linux Mint system. I hope this clarifies my question. Thanks in advance.

You STILL don't say what version of Mint, but since you installed the .deb packages, did you try to look up how to list the contents of a .deb package??? That would tell you, wouldn't it??
Either run "apt-file list <package name>" or "dpkg -L <package name>". Lots of information if you try to research on your own.
