Installing TV Tuner card in Redhat

I have a COnexant 2388x video card (pixelview PRO ULTRA + FM ) card

Now i found a website called bytesex.org containing video4linux etc.. softwares and drivers for this card..

But i am a n00b and i didnt understand a single instruction of that site..

My kernel is 2.4.** and arch i686 RHEL

Can some1 generous enough please tell me step-2-step how to install this card in to Linux..

PLease i have searching for help since weeks now..

Download the cx88 driver and extract it.
Open up a terminal and go to the directory it's extracted in.
Type "make", then as root, "make install".
Then as root, "/sbin/modprobe cx8800"
I'm not sure if the driver will work with a 2.4 kernel, but it's worth a try.

When i use "make" command i was told to run "make config" and then run "make dep" in my usr/src/linux-*** directory

I did that and when i ran make command again in my driver directory i got this error

make -C /lib/modules/2.4.21-4.ELcustom/build SUBDIRS=/root/cx88-0.0.4 modules
make: *** /lib/modules/2.4.21-4.ELcustom/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
make: *** [default] Error 2

where did i go wrong??
