installing openmosix on slackware 10.1

I have been trying for a few hours now and i just feel like bashing my head again the wall. The openmosix howtos are not helping at all. I really like slackware and dont want to change to another distro. I cant seem to get anything working right.

http://howto.x-tend.be/openMosix-HOWTO/x340.html

the first lines are code dont even make sence

mv /root/openMosix-2.4.20-2.gz /usr/src/linux-2.4.20
cd /usr/src/linux-2.4.20
zcat openMosix-2.4.20-2.gz | patch -Np1

you cant change directories into a file? I dont know what to do I have been looking everywhere for anything that makes any sence but I cant seem to get anywhere. Please help

This is not the latest release:
http://openmosix.sourceforge.net/#Latest
If you want to use the patch, you need 2.4.26 sources installed on your system.
Then you have to patch them.
OpenMosix is available to 2.6.x kernels with CVS.

I'm interested in this thread an it could be great to turn it into a how-to.
I'll try on my side.

EDIT-----------------------------
I downloaded the full 2.4.26 kernel source rpm:
openmosix-kernel-source-2.4.26-openmosix1.i386.rpm
rpm2tgz openmosix-kernel-source-2.4.26-openmosix1.i386.rpm
installpkg openmosix-kernel-source-2.4.26-openmosix1.i386.tgz
Renamed /usr/src/linux-2.4.26-openmosix1 to /usr/src/linux-openmosix
I recompiled and now the kernel works fine.
Compiled openmosix-user and openmosixview.
Edited a little /etc/openmosix/openmosix.config.
Forget about /etc/openmosix.map. It seems to be unused now.
But now? I presume we have to enable TFTP if we want a network boot server.
We can install kernel on any other machine too.

EDIT-----------------------------
Ok i fought a little with kernel compiling but i have a working cluster (2 PC !).
I used omdiscd -i eth1 to listen on LAN side, but now i prefer use /etc/init.d/openmosix start.
Stress tests work fine.
mosrun -23 gimp <------ This command, typed on the node 512 runs gimp on the node n°23 and displays it on the node 512's screen.
But when i overload the main machine, the second node do nothing...

Any ideas?
EDIT-----------------------------
Seems not all processes can migrate. All this is explained in the documents provided on the openMosix site. I'm busy now so i can't continue this howto. I'll do a clean one when i'll got time. Just one comment: i noticed the 2.4 kernel i compiled is crap. Multitask is nonexistent... Probably the patch is the guilty one.
