installing a usbmouse


hi friends,
i am using fedora 3 .recently i got a usb webcam.it's model number is cs120 manufactured by intel.plz help me how to intall it in my system. i am unable to find out the device driver for this one.plz suggest a device driver for this one also

From what I can see, the intel cs120 is not supported by linux.

For eg see: http://spca50x.sourceforge.net/devices.html

you'll see that the spca50x driver will support the intel easy-cam but not this. Similar comments with:

I think KUDZU is supposed to autodetect cameras - you may want to update you USB utilities like hotplug and so on. Some people having camera trouble have fixed it by udating all their usb stuff. But I do not hold out much hope.

As usual - caveat emptor ... check out any hardware before you buy. I'm stuck with a scanner where the model on either side is supported but this one isn't! The irony in your situation is that there are many many cameras that will work with the generic driver.
