Installed the Calculator in FC5

Hi All,

I have tried to installed the calculator in to my Linux box.
I have using the FC5 Distribution.

The results are following,

# rpm -ivh qalculate-gtk-0.9.5-1.fc5.src.rpm --nodeps

this is neither a suggestion nor feedback abuot linuxquestions.org. can i ask what prompted you post post in this forum? was it simply becuase it was the first one in the list? this thread will soon be moved to a more suitable location.

anyway, you're trying to install a source rom, not a binary rpm, you don't want to do this. you need an equivalent rpm ending in i386.rpm, i686.rpm or similar.

Actually iam new to Linux. Thats why the mistake was happened.
