install package problem


I am trying to install a package from cdrom to the Debian linux server , but when running install , it pop the error " /bin/sh: bad interpreter: Permission denied" , I tried to copy all files to the HD , but still have the same problem , can suggest how to fix it ? thx

not quiet sure, but may be you should configure the package by ./configure command or sth like that which is equivalent to your package.
also may be you should unzip it first,
installation depends on the extension of the package
how does this file look like?
