Thanks for posting that link. Looking at the the requirements info, it looks like you need kde, qt4 and either be rpm based to install the precompiled binaries, or the gcc compiler to compile it from the tarball. For a lightweight distro this may be bad news. When you are done, it will have gained a few pounds. ( Hound Dog Linux? )
I didn't dig into what was in the tarball. KDE has used the autoconf system in the past but is using cmake now, and many of the projects are following suite. Autoconf, cmake help the programmers package their code, generating the configure script which analyzes your system and generates a Makefile for producing the project.
