In need of gentoo install help.

Hi am about to install gentoo for the first time. I am familiar with compiling kernels and such but i do not know what i should put in the file /etc/conf.d/net. I have a 2 nics one on board and another that uses the tulip module. I plan on using the tulip one because its been most reliable in linux.

#Could some one post their /etc/conf.d/net and also their /etc/fstab as an example? (from gentoo linux only)

Any other suggestions would also be appreciated.
Thanks
