Im in need...............

I have fluxbox installed and it shows up in sessions and works, i have set my preferences in the menu bar, ie. the prgs i want etc.. and have set up my styles but i cant get the background to run with my style or at all.

it says fbset cant find the file /home/neil/~./fluxobox/backgrounds
and i have changed the style file command to that but it still wont get it, where am i going wrong?

Cheers.

It should be just /home/neil/.fluxbox/backgrounds
or ~/.fluxbox/backgrounds

do you have this directory: /home/neil/~./fluxobox/backgrounds
probably not it would be either ~/.fluxbox/backgrounds or /home/neil/.fluxbox/backgrounds you need to check your scripts and correct.

Yes sorrry i made a typing error there. Its fluxbox not fluxobox.

I have the directory and have changed the command in the style with an editor to include the path where i keep my backgrounds but it still doesnt work, i have an error message on change of a style saying that fbset cant find the background.

Is there something i need to download, can i do it any other way? i heard that you could change the menu file to add a submenu so you can have your backgrounds as well as your cunstom styles so then you can just click it and have it on?
