larry.barnes LQ Newbie Registered: Sep 2003 Location: Dallas, Texas Distribution: SUSE 9.2, FC3,Vect 5.0 SOHO Posts: 8 Rep:	Illegal Seek error from Motion I am trying to get Motion 3.0.7 running with a Dlink DCs900W wireless webcam. Running on Redhat 9.0 with kernel 2.4.20. I have modified my motion.conf to look at teh correct IP address. I get this error message and the program terminates with no other output. Any words of wisdom appreciated, thanks. p.s. Yes, I am a NEWBIE and this is the first program I've tried to compile. [root@Linux-1 motion-3.0.7]# motion thread0 device: //192.168.0.20/image.jpg input: -1 thread pid: 3510 waiting for threads to finish, pid: 3510 Error getting netcam image: Success Capture error: Illegal seek
