I want .forward to NOT forward attachments

Hi,

I'd have a .forward file set up containing my teams email addresses. It forwards mail that gets sent to a system ID I run an application under on the unix box.

However I really just want to be forwarded the body of the message but not the attachments.

Any advice appreaciated.

Thanks

a genuine .forward file reall has no flexibility at all. what SMTP server is running and delivering your mail? I run exim, which has a totally different usage for .forward files and does allow for the flexibility that you are after, but this is somethign declared by the server. a .forward in the pure sense is not expected to do anything clever at all.
