I REALLY need help - please!

Now I have this old lap top. In Red Hat 8.0 Harware Browser it says, that my Video Card is a 3D Rage LT Pro AGP-133 using driver Card: ATI Mach64. So far so good. Now I thought I would have some 3D acceleration. I know it's not a fast 3D card AT ALL. I remembers that my Win2K installation on the same machine had 3D acc.

I found the Gatos project. Downloaded their driver and did as it said. But how do I change to that driver?? I need some kind of a "Install ati.2 for dummies" help ;-) Can anybody help!

Gatos driver is for the tv tuner, not graphics itself.
