Exclamation Synaptic Repositories

[SOLVED]

If anyone can help me get these thinks working properly it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and patience.

edit: Where do I find the urls to add to the Synaptic repositories? I just tried to download Pidgin ,but it wasn't listed.

edit again: I'm getting a new error in Synaptic:

Failed to fetch http://security.debian.org/dists/etc...rce/Sources.gz Sub-process gzip returned an error code (1)
