I really need some help. I need to find Linux server side software to convert HTML to PDF. I have tried all the free stuff and it doesn't render the HTML quite right. Anyone have any leads on a great HTML to PDF renderer? Thanks for your help!
Kencaz, I did as you suggested, using Fedora Core 3 I printed this web page from Firefox to test.ps, then run "$ ps2pdf test.ps test.pdf" and got a working pdf, I got all the data, however I don't have the output exactly as the original page like you get if using Adobe Acrobat on Windows.
Maybe it's related to Firefox, the print preview is not showing the web page as it looks in the screen, I have tested with other web pages (including some of mine) and the preview it's not the same as the original web page, I have also confirmed there is no additional CSS for a "print only" version. Any idea?
Have you tried HTMLDOC? ([url]http://www.easysw.com/htmldoc/) This software says it converts HTML files and web pages into indexed HTML, PostScript and PDF files. You can try a free demo there too. Let me know how if it worked for you.
