How Too Guides on installing *.* Linux


Going to try to get a (XXX). LINUX going, just looking for some how-too guides. If someone knows of one THX.

Go to the website for the *.*LINUX of interest, and look for documentation. You can find installation instructions there.

i wonder how many distros actually match that glob (*.*) of have a period in the middle of their name...

download (or order free CDs if you do not have hi-speed connection)
ubuntuguide.org for some handy tips
insert CD and re-boot
follow on-screen instructions
come back here and ask questions......
