how to video call windows to linux over a 3G modem?

Hello.
I am looking for a way to make a video call from windows to linux.
I do prefer over MSN or skype protocol so it would mean less trouble starting new accounts for all sides.

now here are my problems:
pidgin doesn't support video calls on msn protocol and skype doesn't support video calls over GPRS.

I like the simple looking interface on pidgin and I have a sierra wireless 880E pcmcia 3G modem.
the windows side is using the WLM so no problems there.

I'd appreciate a suggestion on how to make that happen.

Umm, MSN video have been broken by Microsoft in February even for their own old clients (they switched to a new protocol and shut down the old one). So every client had that had video support are now borken. aMSN even dropped the feature. For Skype, don't the real Skype client for Linux have video support? Also, you can try the Windows version of MSN or Skype with Wine, it might just work if native clients fail.

The idea of using a tin can with a string attached to it and a binoculars sounds better every passing day...

the real Skype client has video support, but not when you are connected with GPRS (as stated in the download section) and I am connected with a wireless modem.

also I ideologically refuse to use Wine. :P
