How to see FAT32 on linux with redhat 9.0?

I recently dual booted my computer with windows 98SE and Redhat 9.0. I'm having trouble accessing my windows files on linux though. I am an extreme newb so I'm probably missing something simple. If someone does respond to this please put it in super clear newb terms if you don't mind. Thank you for your time.

What partition/drive in windows on? if it is the first partition on the first drive then try this as root:
"mkdir /mnt/win98" you only need to do this once
"mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/win98"

If this works and you want to automate he process you can add an entry in /etc/fstab.

NOTE: be careful ot to damage any system files on the windows partition or windows might not boot. Most people create a seperate data only partition for transferring files between the OS's and mount that in both systems.

Search Linux Questions, because I know the line that needs to be added to fstab is posted here somewhere. Once you get it mounted your files will be in the /mnt/where_ever_you_put_windows/ directory.
