Question How to reinstall a service?

Hi, I wanted to reinstall my BIND server on my Fedora Core 6 box... so I went to the Add/Remove programs section and removed it. However, when I went to install it again from the installation CDs it wouldn't allow me because of an existing OS installation. I didn't want to format the current partitions because I would lose everything else I had installed. How do I just install the BIND ("named") service by itself? It does not show up in the services list either.

run system-config-services and enable named for the run level you are at.

Yes, that would be the easy way to do it, however, it does not show up in the list of services on any runlevel there.

After trying: yum -y install bind

I got an error stating that there were no repositories available or something. I even tried manually downloading BIND and extracting it, configuring it, making it... but it still won't start up and doesn't exist in the services window.
