How to RE-download all my emails again


Hi Guys,

Recently i just migrated from Windows with Outlook to linux with thunderbird.

But the question is, how to i download all my messages again starting my first mail to the latest from gmail.

Please advice.

That depends. Did you delete the mails from the Gmail account after downloading them? If not, you can download them again, either with a browser or by using the Gmail POP3 feature. If you did delete them, then you cannot download them again, because they are not on the server.

By default, e-mail clients (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc) automatically delete e-mails from the server once they've been downloaded.

If the emails aren't deleted then you can re-download them. In settings(POP settings), one radio button is there which is similar to "Download all mails even if already downloaded" which you can select to perform the operation desired by you.
