Post How to monitor mysql nodes (memory usage)

Here we go...

1 mysql cluster
2 nodes

I would like to monitor how much RAM each table uses on the data nodes, and a total of the RAM used for datas.

It is ok if you know about a tool to be run on the nodes, I have acces to tham, if you know something to monitor the hole clusters performance from one single point (i.e. the cluster manager) it would be even better.

The most important parameter I NEED to know is the memory usage of the tables, other parameters are welcome :P

Ah, and the solution MUST be a free software (not necesaru open-source, but at least free-to-use).

Thanks.

I guess you can try the following utility:
mytop - top like query monitor for MySQL
It's in the repositories if you're using Debian/Ubuntu.

Mytop and the other one (can't remember it's name, something with "top", too) are not mainained, and they are known to report wrong values for mysql 5 or higher... so i would like to have something else...

I dont have an answer to your q, I just want to know - what do you mean when you say "Mysql cluster"?
And what exactly do you mean by "node", as well?

Any Luck?

I was wondering if you had any luck finding anything to monitor your mysql cluster?

I started using mysql-admin and was curious if there is anything better.

Thanks.

Unfortunetly no

I found no better way than looking at a "top" command with some options. My testing was temporally halted... so if I find something better maybe I'll be back and share the result with you.
