how to make netbeanIDE available for another user which is installed in root


hi

is it possible to run netbeans which is installed in /opt/
through another
as it required to go in tht directory
please help in this regard.

Yes its possible. They can either enter the full command e.g. /opt/netbeans-{$VERSION}/netbeans or they can create a menu or desktop shortcut that has the commands you use to start netbeans.
