How to Install Qparted

Dear Friends

I wanted to partition my external SCSI Drive (146 GB) and need some GUI tool to do it.

I wanted to create five small (200M) partitions and wanted to use them as RAW.

From where to install qparted to partition the hard disk and how to install it.

Thank You

I think that using fdisk is going to be easier than installing qparted
if your distribution of choice doesn't have a ready made package for it.

Cheers,
Tink

I like fdisk myself, but if you're set on having a gui, you can download and burn the system rescue CD from http://www.sysresccd.org/Main_Page and run one of the partitioning tools from it...

gparted (on a bootable CD) is also nice. For just creating a few partitions, fdisk is all you need. (It should be built it to just about any distro)

What's "RAW"?? Partition type? Filesystem?

It looks like the proper name is QTPARTED---info here: http://qtparted.sourceforge.net/
