Thanks to you all who assist me in installing MPlayer. I just got installed it on my machine and it is working.

David_Ros I was missing the following install,

make
make install
font install
skin install

after completing these steps I am able to run the mplayer from within terminal but I also need a short cut of it.

When I run MPlayer it gives error message like Please supply the text font file (~/.mplayer/subfont.ttf) and subtitle font: load_sub_face failed.

Secodly the MPlayer window is in small size so how to maximize it (full screen). When I press "f" it show full screen but video size is still the same.

What should I do to resolve these issues.....?
