How to install and run BitTorrent on linux Mandrake 9.2

I tried to install BitTorrent on my OS Mandrake Linux 9.2 but I can't figure out. This is my second day with linux mandrake, I never used linux before.

I got the program from the following URL:
http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/BitTorrent-3.3.tar.gz

I opened the konsole and I I typed the following:
tar zxvf BitTorrent-3.3.tar.gz
All went ok!
I went inside the bittorrent directory and typed the following:
ln -s btdownloadcurses.py /usr/bin/btcurses
Which said: "Denied".

Is there another way to install it?
Suggestions maybe?
A link that would help me?

Thanks in advance!!!!

there is bittorrent in MDK 9.2 CD when you tick during installation it says bittorrent needs bittorrent-gui and press ok install them and then it will say all installations are ok, then go to the KDE start logo on the left of your desktop right click the update menu and the you will see the bittorrent's icon in networking>file transfer>bittorrent-gui cool! But you can not start bittorent-gui by clicking!go to some torrents site and press any torrent download link then bittorrent will start automatically and ask you wher to save the file,or download from the torrent site the file link (torrent data)by right clicking and save to your home directory go there where the torrent data is,right click then you will see the bittorrents icon open the file with bittorrent-gui and it will start or double click on the torrent data bittorrent-gui will start and ask where to save.I hope you will manage!

have phun!

I installed Mandrake 9.2 and I didn't find anything related to bittorrent.

How can I install bittorrent if I have Mandrake 9.2 already installed?
