how to include lpr options while printing from xpdf v4 ?

starting with Slack150 we deal with a new xpdf viewer, v4.03 currently. in the past, using the old xpdf viewver, one was able to specify in a GUI field lpr options such as :
Code:
lpr -P $MyPrinter -U $MyPrintUserNameForDepartmentPrinter
now, i don't find such a field in the new xpdf GUI nor is there any reference to such in the xpdf or xpdfrc man manuals. the print setup in my work machine uses CUPS which i recently had to setup again for Slack150 with the following command :
Code:
lpadmin -p MyPrinter -E -v ipp://MyCupsServer.com:631/printers/MyPrinter -m MyPrinter.ppd -D myPrinter -P ./MyPrinter.ppd
followed by some magic activation touch by using :
Code:
http://localhost:631/admin/
there is an option "-U" for lpadmin but i think that must be for the actual linux username and not for the 'alternate username' $MyPrintUserNameForDepartmentPrinter i need to specify as an option at my university so that my print job is billed for properly.

needless to say that the plain lpr command works just fine and pushes successfully my print data through the university print pipeline to any of the campus-wide Xerox printers. i can always resort to the lpr command - but it would be so convenient to make use of comfortable GUI button to make the print work flow...
any ideas ?

problem solved - a colleague at work suggested i look into the following CUPS client.conf file where one specifies the print username :

Code:
echo "USER MyPrintUsername" >> ~/.cups/client.conf
then i restarted CUPS :

Code:
/etc/rc.d/rc.cups restart
cups: restarted scheduler. [ OK ]
and off we go, printing started to work again, via XPDF or LPR, both without needing to specify any special print username.

uff, this one was easy...marked as [SOLVED]
