how to disable ipv6 in Redhat Linux AS 4 ?

Redhat Enterprise Linux AS 4 by default enable ipv6 and ipv6 is bind to each network interface.

Is it possible to disable ipv6 ? I just use usual ipv4 and heard someone said that it will have addition loading.

I use FC4 which is very similar. The steps outlined in the above thread disabled IPv6 for me.
