Hello. I installed Notion on my Ubuntu system. My system also has XFCE and Unity installed. If I sign into Notion, use it for a bit, and then wish to logout and go back to (I think) gdm where I have the choice to subsequently log back in under XFCE or Unity or back to Notion, then how do I do this? I haven't figured out a way.
To shutdown the system, I generally open a terminal (pressing F2, I think, does this) and then I enter "sudo shutdown" or "sudo halt". I figure there must be another way, though.

Okay, I did figure this out. Pressing F12 gives the option of the main menu, and then typing session/exit logs one off and back to GDM (assuming one has GDM installed).
