How do I unpack a .sit file in linux?


Hello,
I downloaded a file that is compressed in a .sit format apparently this is a stuffit expander file but I dont know how to uncompress it to extract what is inside it (a palm application). Can some one tell me how to do this.

According to one thing on Google, Stuffit expander is avail for Linux. I looked at the Alladin site and it seems that maybe the Mac version also does Linux--you can try it, it is free.

Thanks for the help,
I found a simpler solution to my problem. I remembered that I had an old Aladdin Stuffit expander file for windows when it was completely free. I installed it using WINE and then extracted the files and everything came out fine.

It is funny because this is the first program that actually works with WINE that I have ever tried using that way.
