How do I read CompactFlash card (32mb) on RH9?
I have tried Nautilus thru Home icon with no luck. I tried ls /proc/bus/usb and ls /mnt/usbdevfs, nothing there.
“Cat /proc/scsi/scsi” results:
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: SIIG Model: CompactFlash Car Rev: 0113
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: SONY Model: CD-RW CRX175A1 Rev: 5YS3
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
“Mount” results:
/dev/hda3 on / type ext3 (rw)
none on /proc type proc (rw)
usbdevfs on /proc/bus/usb type usbdevfs (rw)
/dev/hda1 on /boot type ext3 (rw)
none on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)
none on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw)
/etc/modules.conf contents:
alias usb-controller usb-uhci
alias eth0 8139too
alias sound-slot-0 disabled
post-install sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -L >/dev/null 2>&1 || :
pre-remove sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -S >/dev/null 2>&1 || :
CompactFlash card is plugged into card reader plugged into cable from USB1(uhci, VIA Technologies) port. I created directory usbdevs under /mnt but nothing ls's there.
I think I'm missing some simple step but have not found much info re USB and card readers.
Thanks in advance for any help.
