Question How do I erase all data for software installed through command line?

So, uh, I fricked up. I installed Dolphin emulator via command line, and when I was choosing the game directories I chose my Home folder and all subfolders, just in case I lost any ROMs in my filesystem.

Now, Dolphin crashes every time I try to use it, so I can't undo this setting this way.

Where are the files for the settings of apps installed in this manner so I can erase them?

This doesn't really belong in a Dolphin forum or anything, because I'm assuming that this applies to other software as well.

How did you install it (Which command did you use? Where did you get it from?)?

usually apps put a config for their app in ~/.config/someApp .

basically for most FileManagers it is Ctrl+h to show and hide hidden files/directories. .config is a hidden file. if that does not work you can try.
Code:
whereis appName
then it shows you where it is located, and
Code:
locate AppName
Code:
find /path -name AppName
man find

some ways to find things on the system.

places to look for:
~/.dolphin
~/.config/dolphin
~/.local/share/dolphin
~/.cache/dolphin
you need to enable hidden directories in your filemanager, usually with Ctrl-H
