How can I make it so ... [more]

How can I make it so I can automatically switch between window managers instantly in redhat... like I could on Mandrake?

For instance. On mandrake if you were in, say, GNOME or something I remember I could go to mandrake start>logout>switch window manager> icewm/windowmaker/sawfish etc

The best part is all current applications and windows would automatically be ported over to the new window manager.

I want to be able to do this in redhat too!

Searched USENET and Google before posting, can't find any info... my fate is in your hands

try looking under the desktop switching tool, I don't really ever use gnome cuz I hate it, but that might get you started in the right direction.
Once installed I think you can type something like 'switchdeskkde' and it will perform the task you are looking for. I can't be any more precise than that right now, since this is off the top of my head.

Yep, it only has KDE or GNOME, TWM or "revert to user setting" (click here for screenshot)

I have ICEWM, Windowmaker, KDE, GNOME installed, but I don't see the others in the "desktop switching tool"

Also switchdesk only brings up the desktop switching tool
same with switchdesk-gnome.

switchdesk-icewm / switchdesk-windowmaker do not work.
