How can i edit K3B's img images?


I have made an image of a data cd with k3b ( the file is of *.img type) How can i open , edit and save that image file? For instance i wanna add some files to the *.img save it and then burn it to a cd.How can i do something like that?

I know of two softwares. None is free. None works under Linux. You can try MagicISO (you can download a free trial versions) which runs in Windozze.

I did a google search on Kiso, nothing turns up. Can you give some links.

http://kiso.sourceforge.net I used Isobuster in Windows and it's similar.

I've tried kiso works fine , but how do i make an iso of a cd?

"dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/home/user/myCD.iso" Works for me.

Thanx!I can also do this with kiso.The only prob is that the cd progress bar in kiso stays @ 0% although the cd is being transfered 2 an iso image!Just wait a little bit!

Not really in my opinion. I choose 2 add a file or directory (Ctrl + A) in an iso image but it doesn't add the files.Strange...
