Hotplug

Hi.

I recently got my Alcatel Speedtouch modem (ADSL) working with SuSE 9.0 using the guide supplied by SuSE + the speedmgmt file.

The problem I face now is that everytime I restart my system I have to go into root and type 'rchotplug restart' in order to get the thing to connect - otherwise the hotplug does not load.

Anybody have a clue to why this is? And is there a fix?

Thanks.

a temporary fix to this would be adding the rchotplug restart line to your .bash_profile

so that command is executed when you login.
