Hello everybody, i'm a total n00b(hence the name
) I have a little problem.
It all started with my Windows XP breaking down after I hit the power switch cuz it froze, started comp again and it would give me an error screen when windows started and then reboot.
I was so pissed off and tired of Windows that I borrowed Red Hat 8.0 from a friend and installed it(always wanted to test Linux anyway), during the install I took out my main HD on Primary Master(which WinXP was installed on, bcs I was afraid the installation would format it or something because it couldn't read NTFS) and replaced it with one I had on Secondary before(which was completely empty).
So I installed Linux on the new HD and everything is working fine now, but I'm wondering how to get Windows XP working again(my mom is too stupid and conservative to use what plainly is the superior OS
, plus I have some important stuff on it which I really need to be able to reach) with a multiboot so I can have both.
I'm thinking that if I try and plug in my other HD again and reinstalled Windows on it so it will work, the NT loader would overwrite the linux one and I wouldn't be able to boot Linux any longer.
So...what do I do??
Thx for ur help in advance.
