I am trying to use postfix on Mandrake 9.0 I seem to be able to send mail to recipients on my box but when I try to send mail using a email client like outlook express I get this error

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'mgraybill@FirstChoiceusa.com'. Subject 'Re: testing email', Account: 'mail.utahraiderfans.com', Server: 'mail.utahraiderfans.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '554 <mgraybill@FirstChoiceusa.com>: Recipient address rejected: Relay access denied', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

What am I missing in my mail.cf ???????

PLease any help would be much appreciated!

you have not configured postfix to relay messages. thats what you have to set up to be able to send mails through the server from other machines.

you have to set up some option in the main.cf file to allow relaying.
