Help! Squid time limit and redirect

Hi,

I would like to seek some help from you guys. I'm new in Squid and I'm just wondering if there are available tools that can set the users to have time limit to access internet and after the time limit expires it will redirect to a certain page. Is that possible?

Thank you!

Of course it is possible .

Quote:
acl aclname time [day-abbrevs] [h1:m1-h2:m2]
# [fast]
# day-abbrevs:
# S - Sunday
# M - Monday
# T - Tuesday
# W - Wednesday
# H - Thursday
# F - Friday
# A - Saturday
# h1:m1 must be less than h2:m2
But Squid is not so simple to be learned in 5 minutes (I mean non basic configuration). Anyway start reading about Squid ACLs:
http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/config/acl/

Then you can deny/allow access to certain ACL and use your own "Access Denied" pages.

Thank you for the response. However for the time limit it should have no scheduled time.
For example user can access internet for 2 hours in any time of the day.
