Help plz.....How do I get rid of XP?

I'm am just sick of Windows XP! XP is for newbies that don't know how to work a pc. I praise Windows 98 as the best OS ever. Now I have a problem here, maybe someone can help me....

I got a HP, which I hate. Now this pc came with Windows XP home edition already installed on it. Now that's not upgraded to XP, thats just from nothing to XP. And this is where my problem arises...

Normally you can restart your pc in safemode and go to add/remove programs and uninstall XP.... but I can't cuz no other versions have ever been on this pc. Now I also, did the following which I got from a site:

1. Restart pc and logon as Admin in Safemode Cmd Prompt.

2. Type the following: cd\ press ENT

3. Type: cd\windows\system32 press ENT

4. Type: osuninst.exe press ENT

After I did this it said the following: "Setup cannot uninstall Windows XP because the necessary registration info. is missing."

Now how do I fix this, so I can continue on to uninstall Windows Xp???

Yeah I know this shouldn't be posted here, but I need all the help I can get. You see that's the problem, you must not know about XP that well. With XP there is NO ms-dos.......so you see I can't just format my hard drive and this is y I'm having such a huge problem. The only way I can get to the CMD Prompt is by going to Safemode CMD Prompt, I can't just go to it by it's self. Plz someone help me............i'm desperate seriously...

If you know you should not have posted this here, then you should not have posted it here no matter how desperate you were.

The Linux - Software forum for Linux software questions. Windows XP problems do not fall in this category. The General (note: *not* Linux - General) might be a better place for this.
