Exclamation help me


i have istalled redhat on my laptop. but there is no gcc package. i downloaded gcc package from internet but when i installed gcc rpm package some dependencies are missing. now please help me

You would be safer to install gcc from the RH media you used to install the OS, you can google for instructions on adding the install media as a yum repository.

The second choice is to register your host with RHN, once registered you can install packages directly from the network.

Please do not get into the habit of creating threads with uninformative titles such as "Help Me" -- many folks will either ignore your thread, or get bent out of shape over such titles

Please rename your thread (click EDIT + ADVANCED) to something that gives the reader some idea what the thread is about (maybe "How to install GCC + deps on RedHat?").
