Help is needed in Installing XPde desktop on RedHat 9!!


Hi Everybody!!

I have just downloaded XPde windows desktop environment for Rethat 9 from www.xpde.com site and try to install it after decompressing it as it is told on the site. I tried again and again but every time I am getting error. Even I read the posted articles on this forum for similar problem but still I could not solve my problem.

I am new to Linux and I need simple/clear guide for installing XPde, so please help me.

That desktop brings me some terrible memories...ghehe. Well, anyway, if you post the error you are getting, we can see what may be wrong. I don't think many had actually installed that desktop ( I wouldn't )
