i think don't try to build that into the kernel (saa7134) but rather make it a module
if you do want to build it in you will need soundcore alsa and alsa oss emulation built in as well

my experience says all sound functions better as modules

please use a useful thread title next time. how do you think people are meant yo know what your problem is about with a title like that?
