Having trouble opening my parrot security os 4.9, boots to terminal

When I boot up it goes to a terminal screen and I have to login and then it takes me to terminal mode. I need to know how to run it in normal mode from terminal mode I guess??

Is this a new install, or one that was booting to desktop before and is now not? The latter will have log files to identify the issue - have you looked at them?

If you want a desktop and can't figure out how to start/debug it, you should probably be using Parrot Home, not Parrot Security.
