Unhappy Having problem to install mysql Connector to communicate with my php !!!


Hi,

I'am having problems to let my php (v5) communicate with mysql ( V5.1.35 ), so what i've done after looking into forums is this :

sudo yum install php-mysql

And as a result i had this over the screen :

[root@patrasso ~]# sudo yum install php-mysql

Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Loading "security" plugin
Loading "rhnplugin" plugin
This system is not registered with RHN.
RHN support will be disabled.

ANY ONE CAN HELP PLEASE. I'AM WORKIN' OVER THIS PROBLEM SINCE MONDAY !!!!

would be nice if you would state the Operating System and/or linux distribution you use.

What I think is that you just don't use the right wording for finding the packages. A
Code:
yum list *php*
should show you what php packages are there. Should be something like

yum install php5-mysql
