Having 32 and 64 bit video drivers at the same time.

Hi!

I wanted to play Amnesia The Dark Descent by using wine.
I'm using Debian Wheezy x64. Well it is not working...
I tried to start Launcher and it says

Code:
err:winediag:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo Direct rendering is disabled, most likely your OpenGL drivers haven't been installed correctly (using GL renderer "GeForce 9600 GT/PCIe/SSE2", version "1.4 (2.1.2 NVIDIA 319.32)").

As you can see I have NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-319.32 drivers.
Glxinfo says that direct rendering is enabled.

Well I searched google and found that I need to install 32 bit drivers. Here comes my question:
Is it okay to have both - 32 and 64 bit drivers? Which one my system will use outside Wine?

It's likely that you're just missing the 32 bit nVIDIA libraries -- so installing something like libgl1-nvidia-glx:i386 could sort you out. It's not the driver you install, as such, just libraries to interface with it.
Installing 32 bit libraries on a 64 bit system is fine and they are only used by programs that call the 32 bit libraries.

multilib (as it's called running two different sets of libraries) can be a pain at times but hopefully since you're running stable the 32 bit versions of the libraries you need should be available.
