hey me again
i installed gyach 0.9.7(or something like that) and after a few minutes of chatting my text is no longer visible has anyone else had this problem and more importantly does anyone know a fix?
not sure about that, but I have installed gyach on SuSE 10.1, and it is there, it loads, but wont connect!! the default server is scs.yahoo.com (error on connecting), I have also tried scs.msg.yahoo.com (crashes the program, however that is what is used with Windows Yahoo messenger/Yahelite, etc) it seems like it will work fine, once it gets connected. Do I need to try other servers, am I missing files? I tried to Google for more servers, but no luck. Gaim is working great, but I am a voice whore! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It installed, connected, looks great, etc etc, for about 3 minutes, then the entire app closes! I couldnt get lipexpat to work without uninstallin the entire SuSE distro, so I went with compat-expat, which loaded with no issues. Makes me wonder if there isnt some incompatibility with the two??
